International Network marketing company “aka MLM” are where sale of a consumer products take place person to person, away from a fixed retail location, and also known as a direct selling company.

Products are sold by non employee distributors (Call, Independent Associate, Member, business owner or other denomination) who are eligible to receive commissions based on product sales.

 Individual distributors are encouraged to build their own sales networks by recruiting new distributors to sell the products (referred to in Network marketing parlance as a "downline" one can still purchase the products directly on-line, the recruiter can, in theory, receive additional commissions based on sales by their downlines.

The company requires those marketing its products to follow certain guidelines set out by the company, compensation structure.

• No longer make Drug Claims, or claims that the product can cure, treat, or prevent any disease until the product is approved and cleared for those uses by the U.S.Food and Drug Administration.
• Not make any other claims, whether health claims or others, regarding the benefits of the product unless such claims are true and the company can substantiate the claim by reliable scientific evidence.
• Not use Testimonials which imply that the advertised claimed results are the typical or ordinary experience of consumers in actual conditions of use, unless the company possesses and relies upon adequate substantiation that the results are typical or ordinary.
• Associates are bound by distributor agreements, which include forbidding distributors from making "misleading income claims" to potential associates or from making health claims for the products.
